Yes! We do! We have at least two by each venue just to make it easier on you and where you would like to stay! Check out our travel tab and you will find all the Hotels listed as well as other fun travel tips!
No, it is not. We ended up choosing two different places to fit our needs! Our Ceremony will be at St. Pius Church and our Reception will be at Gray Gables Estate! Don't worry it is not too far of a drive and there will be plenty of time for you to get to the reception... can you say cocktail hour?!
Of course! We will be having a cocktail hour, as well as a full dinner reception! Don't worry you will have plenty of food!
Sorry, but as much as we both love animals, our wedding day is going to be animal free! Our ceremony is in a church and we hope to respect their guidelines as well as traditions!
There are a TON of things to do, from waterfalls, to mountains, beaches, city streets, breweries, wineries, cideries, distilleries, the list goes on and on! The food scene is great, the alcohol is great, and the scenery is great! Check out the Things To Do tab to find just a few suggestions of things to do while you are here!
The Pacific Northwest is known for having very rainy and cold winters! Make sure to pack a rain jacket and rain boots! Don't worry, our wedding day will be inside, but getting to and from the car may result in a quick shower! Don't forget the umbrellas!
We would appreciate it if everyone would please dress in semi-formal attire. Thank you!
Other than what is listed on the Things to Do tab we love: 10 barrel brewing, Deschutes Brewing, Rogue brewing, Stepping Stone Cafe, Wayfinder brewery, Portland City Grill, AVID, and any McMenamins! All of those places offer full kitchens so every place has food!
Oh yes! If you want views of Portland we suggest Pittock Mansion! It is free to walk around outside the house (bring your umbrellas) but they charge to go into the house. Other options would be the OHSU Tram, it goes up to a hospital, but it has some of the best views! If you are wanting to see a gorgeous river we suggest Vista House in the Gorge, that view is sure to not disappoint!
We are asking everyone to show up no later than 2pm! Please be at the church ready to go at 2pm!
Yes yes and YES! The Gorge is filled with amazing hikes that pass right by or under waterfalls! There are so many to check out! If you want to stay closer to Portland we would suggest checking out Forest Park, it is a massive park that does allow pets, and has miles and miles of trails!
