Take a hike up to horsetooth rock, one of the most popular trails in Fort Collins!
Take a day trip up to Estes Park, CO. This mountain town is a huge attraction for visitors far and wide with various activities and places to shop! One of our favorites is the old fashion candy store or go take some Old Timey Western Photos at one of two shops in Estes!
An iconic national park and a must see! In October it would be best to check for possible road closures but you can always drive around the park or park and take the various shuttles offered to a trail head and go for a leisurely hike or maybe something more intense for experienced hikers. I suggest Bear Lake as the waterfall along the trail is beautiful!
Old Town in Fort Collins is a great place to take a stroll day or night! Grab some coffee, lunch, dinner, or even just dessert at the Chocolate Cafe! Lots of shops of all kinds: thrift stores, clothing, tea/coffee shops, fudge/ice cream/cookies, souvenirs, and more!
Go for a brewery tour at one of Fort Collins best local breweries! New Belgium is our favorite and you don't have to be 21 to go on the tour, but if you are free samples are offered! The tour does not cost anything but you do have to make a reservation in advance. New Belgium's newly renovated court yard offers a great are to relax, have a beer, and play some corn hole! Highly recommended by the Bride and Groom. :-)
Another local brewery that offers free tours and a beautiful patio to relax and drink a beer. Another good selection if you want to experience the beer culture in Fort Collins and see more than one brewery, this one should definitely be on your list!
