We met at Thompson Valley High School through mutual friends and participation in Choir. After we both graduated, we met again at the Alumni Choir Concert in 2010 and as they say the rest is history! Not long after that concert we were dating, definitely unexpected but we both couldn't be happier. Just goes to show that even if it's not love at first sight doesn't mean it can't be True Love. David planned for us to go on a hike for our 3 year anniversary and intended to propose on top of horsetooth rock, but plans don't always work out. Unfortunately on our anniversary weekend the trail was too muddy and we couldn't go hiking, so he had to improvise because he didn't want to wait. He made us dinner at home, we went to old town and took a horse carriage ride around old town Fort Collins, and then he suggested that we go for a drive up to horsetooth. Once we had driven up to a nice spot, near Satanka Cove, under a perfectly cold and star filled night sky he got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" and she said yes! Now 7 years later we finally have a wedding date set with the ceremony being held at Horsetooth reservoir where it all began.
