Laguna Beach Saturday Farmers Market
Open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM We love this farmer’s market on Saturday mornings! From the weekly vendors - David loves the coconut booth, Becca loves the beef jerky man, and everybody LOVES the rotisserie chicken from The Chicken Guys food truck. Great vibes all around It is across the street from about 2 blocks of shopping and dining. It is about 3 blocks away from the beach! Metered street parking or a parking structure is available and more cost effective if you want to stay longer than 2 hours
Lantern Bay Park
Lantern Bay Park is one of the best-known parks in Dana Point due to its amazing views over Doheny Beach + Dana Point Harbor. We have seen people going on a morning run, enjoying the park’s open grass areas, and picnicking with a view. You can use this park as a path to the harbor, as long as you don’t mind stairs! The Laguna Cliffs Marriott looks out over this park!
Dana Point Harbor
The Dana Point Harbor is the focal point of Dana Point, and one of the main attractions of the town. It is under some renovation (a little face lift and expansion). There are LOTS of things to do at the harbor, from walking the pathways around its edges to the trails up on the bluffs overlooking it, to sailing, boating, shopping, and boarding whale watching tours. Many of the restaurants overlook the water in the harbor!
Salt Creek Beach
Hang out at the park, enjoy a stroll on the beach, or grab a drink at Young’s beach shack. This spot is great for a low key afternoon and beautiful views! There’s an easy parking lot just off the PCH
Mission San Juan Capistrano
The California Missions are a must for history loving out-of-towners. You will see beautiful architecture of missionaries and the residents. Fun fact - we looked into the SJC Mission as a wedding venue!
Laguna Beach Trolley End Point
The trolly is a fun, easy way to get around town! No car required, depending where you stay. You could hit all the places on this page with the trollies, they all connect! Coastal Route Free trolley service on Coast Highway between North Laguna/ Heisler Park, downtown, South Laguna/ Mission Hospital and Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Frequency: Every 20-30 minutes.
