Things To Do

We love the this area of coastal shoreline around Tomales Bay. Nature and scenic drives abound. Cell service can be spotty! On your way up, Downtown Petaluma would make a great stop for dinner, or pass through Point Reyes Station for a treat at Bovine Bakery or great pizza at Cafe Reyes. In Marshall, enjoy Hog Island Oyster Co., the Marshall Store, Tony’s Seafood, or Nick’s Cove—reservations in advance are highly recommended. Mable’s Restaurant, located at the Lodge at Marconi, serves brunch and dinner, and the lobby has breakfast to go. If dining Friday night, book ahead. North of Marshall, Route One Bakery & Kitchen is great for pastries or pizza. For adventure, Tomales Bay Expeditions offers kayak rentals and excursions. For hiking or beach time, visit Point Reyes National Seashore—Drake’s Beach and Limantour Beach are beautiful. For more exploration, drive to the Pt Reyes Lighthouse, stopping at the Cypress Tree Tunnel along the way. Links to all the spots mentioned are below!

This is a nice spot off Tomales Bay. We love their broiled oysters! They are open from 11:30am-4pm on Friday and 11:30am-7:30pm on weekends.

Mable's Restaurant and Patio

This is the restaurant at the Lodge at Marconi. Dinner is served on Friday from 4pm to 9pm and brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm. Happy hour is from 3pm-5pm on Friday and Saturday!

Delicious bakery with early morning pastries and pizza served after 11am. They are open from 7:30am-3:00pm on Friday through Sunday.
