Mom + Dad!!
Rick and Martha will go the distance to make their kiddos feel loved- even when one of them ends up 1,000 miles away in Montana. As Lizzie’s parents, they’ve spent the last 30 years supporting, encouraging, and occasionally asking, “Why Montana?!” David and Lizzie are excited to show them, yet again, why! We’re so grateful for their love, support, and the example they’ve set through 45 years of marriage. It means the world to have them here as they watch their daughter marry a Renaissance man from Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom in the middle of Montana.
The Queen of the Northeast Kingdom
Mary Jane is David’s mother and currently resides in the small but mighty corner of Massachusetts known as Hyannis. Lizzie is convinced that David’s charm, wit, and good looks come directly from her (that Sicilian blood!). She has spent nearly 40 years supporting and encouraging David, and, without ever once asking “Why Montana?" has embraced his adventure with love and enthusiasm. We are deeply grateful for Mary Jane’s unwavering support, care, and visits over the past few years, and we are so excited to have her with us on our special day.
The heart behind our wedding place
Karen met Dave when he was the music teacher in Gardiner and she quickly became a dear friend, mentor, and source of support. During summers spent guiding in Yellowstone, Dave stayed with Karen, and before long Lizzie fell in love with Karen and her special corner of the world, too. We affectionately refer to Karen as our "Yellowstone mom." <3 Today, Karen is making our dreams come true by welcoming us onto her property to celebrate our wedding day. This place is undoubtedly special, and we can't imagine a more meaningful setting to say, "I do!"
