We really don't care what you wear - we want you to come as you are! A few things to keep in mind: Montana weather can change quickly, so we recommend bringing layers. We'll be celebrating on the Greater Yellowstone landscape, which means uneven ground, dirt, and dust. This day was Lizzie's excuse to buy fancy boots, and Dave will probably be sporting his Haflingers (because, obviously, there is no better shoe). Most importantly, we want you to be comfortable and wearing something that makes you feel good - and that you can bust a move in on the dance floor.
Please refer to the names on your invitation envelope - we have reserved a spot for each person listed. If your child's name is not listed, we ask that they stay at home for this one.
We love your dogs. We love our dogs. Unfortunately, the elk and Highway 89 don't share our enthusiasm. Marvin and Emmy Lou will be staying home, and we encourage guests to leave their pups at home as well. Karen's property is regularly visited by elk herds, and with the road nearby, we'll all have a lot more peace of mind if the dogs sit this one out. We'll miss their furry faces, but can't wait to celebrate with yours!
There will be limited parking at Karen's place. Please carpool if you are able to :)
Please let us know if you will be attending no later than Friday, August 7th, 2026.
