During the 3 months we quarantined in Dayton we spent a lot of time supporting Dayton's craft beer scene, and Toxic was one we kept going back to. Located in the heart of Dayton’s Oregon District, Toxic brews a variety of beer styles and serves a selection of beer from other breweries.
The oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world. The enlightening exhibits at the AF Museum feature famous aircraft, including the Memphis Belle. The Museum collects, researches, conserves, interprets and presents the Air Force's history, heritage and traditions.
Downtown’s RiverScape MetroPark includes two in-river features with smooth-water and whitewater passageways spanning the Great Miami River. The project also allows people to fish, sunbathe and enjoy the river downtown in new ways. Rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to explore the downtown river.
There is something for everyone to enjoy in this section of Downtown Dayton with buildings that date back to the early 1800s. East Fifth Street was named one of the five “Great Streets in the U.S.” for its “true sense of place, cultural and historical interest, community involvement, and a vision for the future.” Eclectic shopping, dining, culture, entertainment, and events are always available in the Oregon Historic District.
