Where are you getting married?

Answer

We are getting married in Riviera Maya, Mexico at El Dorado Seaside Resort. This is about a 45 minute drive from the cancun airport. Ground transportation is included in your rate when you reserve in our room block. You will need a passport, so please plan that accordingly.

When Should I RSVP by?

Answer

If you plan to reserve in our room block (highly encouraged), we will know you plan to attend the wedding. We will need all guest room reservations completed by 10/31 the very latest before we start giving up rooms. If you do not plan to book in our room block, please RSVP by 11/06.

How do I book in your room block?

Answer

Our travel agent is Michele. You can reach her by e-mail (michele@luckynlovetravel.com) or phone: (888) 598-8351. Michele is very responsive and happy to help with any questions you may have about the resort, transportation, etc.

Do I have to book in your room block?

Answer

You do not have to reserve your room in our block, however it is highly encouraged since we will be hosting fun wedding festivities prior to wedding day! We would love for all guests to be included in them!

DO I GET A PLUS 1 OR A GUEST?

Answer

All rooms that we have reserved are doubles - a.k.a. they have king beds. All prices PER PERSON go down when a room is booked as a double. We encourage you to bring your significant other, friend, or someone else in your life to enjoy this vacation and our wedding with!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know ASAP of any allergies and or food restrictions you may have so that we can do our best to accommodate !

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are planned to be on a covered pier over the beach. It will NOT be on the sand. We are asking our guests to dress in beach semi-formal attire. Ultimately, we would love it if everyone were dressy and comfortable For women, some suggests are : A long dress, jumpsuit/romper, dressy sandals, flat dress shoes or wedges For Men, some suggestions are : A long or short sleeve dress shirt, closed toe shoes

CAN I TAKE PICTURES AT YOUR WEDDING?

Answer

We strongly encourage our friends to take photos during all wedding events except for our ceremony. We will have a photographer for that special moment and ask that all phones are tucked away. We will be coming up with a hashtag eventually so that we can all see the photos together!

What if I can not make it?

Answer

You will be missed! However we do understand it can be difficult to travel for some. Please let us know ASAP if you will not be attending. We do not have an official RSVP due to the nature of it being a destination wedding.
