Hotel blocks and more recommendations for our guests! For those driving, OceanCliff Hotel has free parking. For those flying, Providence (~45min drive) and Boston (~1hr 30min drive) have the closest airports to Newport. NYC has the most options (that are often less expensive) but it will be a 3hr+ drive to Newport, RI. We appreciate everyone making the journey! For those in NYC, there is also the option to take the train from Penn Station. Two trains operate daily from New York to Newport. The train trip from NYC to Newport is usually about 6hrs. However, traveling on the fastest Amtrak train can get you there in 5.5hrs. For those in Boston, the drive is ~1.5hrs, but there are also train and bus options. Amtrak train takes 1hr to go from South Station (Boston) to Kingston (Rhode Island). It will be a ~35 min drive from Kingston Train Station to Newport.
