David and Katie met in 2017 when they were 15 when David moved schools to Lee County High School. They started talking and hanging out and David asked Katie to be his girlfriend February 27, 2018. They went to youth together at St. Luke UMC, which gave them more opportunities to be together and grow in their faith. They’ve been on many family trips together, including the beach, Walt Disney World, and San Antonio. They have two dogs together, Bo and Maeve, and look forward to having everyone under one roof after they’re married. They’ve had the opportunity to grow as people by each other’s side throughout the rest of high school and college. They can’t wait to be married to each other and navigate the rest of their lives together!
