Maid of Honor
Howdy! I’m Bethany. I live in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and I work as a substance abuse therapist. Due to the fact that I’ve known David for 15 years (probably. Who’s counting? Once it makes it past the 10 year mark, you’re friends for life.) David and I met in middle school, so we’ve really seen the high highs and the low lows of each other’s lives. He’s my best friend, and I love him to death.

My name is Will! My brother and I grew up with Jon in Virginia. I live outside Seattle, at the foot of the Cascade Range in beautiful western Washington. I spend most of my time recreating in the outdoors. This year, I began working as an instructor in my local alpine club. I also still collect smushed pennies, something I started around 26 years ago, about the time I met Jon!

I’m Merritt, I live in Olive Branch, Mississippi with my wife Bri and two cats (Pam and Frank). I work as the Branch Material Handler at Darragh Company Memphis (Construction/Contractor Materials Supply Warehouse), and I’m a big fan of sports! Particularly Football, Soccer, and Rugby! I met David in 6th grade and instantly became very close. And whilst bonding over lake trips, fun summer adventures, and short stints of David living with me at my parents’ house, I can’t wait to support one of my lifelong friends on his quest to true happiness.

Hi, I’m Molly and I live in Los Angeles. I work with the mentally ill which means I must be too. Jon and I met in high school when we were both plagued by violent side bangs and a commitment to being hot emo kids. While being emo ended up being a phase after all, wearing matching outfits on accident has only continued and aesthetically gotten better. No matter the distance, I like to believe we are twinning from afar more often than we know. I love Jon and am so excited to celebrate him and David!

I’m Dimitri — Jon and I first became friends on MySpace nearly 20 years ago, just before I coincidentally moved right down the street from him the summer before high school. India is a proud friend of Jon’s, fellow Boomsquad member and musical artist living in beautiful St. Pete, FL! India currently works in Investment Management at a financial institution, and spends her free time making music, dancing, running, and taking care of her beloved mastiff, Odin. India and Jon met during B-Lunch in middle school and immediately connected over g0th subculture and emo music. This instant connection has blossomed into a 20-year friendship based on laughter, art, and beautiful lasting memories. Her fun fact is that Jon was…. (drumroll please) her first teenage crush! She is extremely happy for the new couple and cannot wait to see what their new chapter brings!

Hi, my name is Ke’Shawn Spellman. I live in Savannah, Georgia. I’m an event coordinator, I teach mindfulness to pre-teens for a nonprofit, I host events, I model, I act—essentially, I do everything under the sun. And yes, I don’t get any sleep.I’ve known JON and DAVID!!! through the entirety of their relationship. I met Jon first—he was living in the carriage house of an ex of mine, and I would see him around, usually taking cute photos of himself or of Pugsley. Shortly after getting to know Jon and becoming friends, David popped into the picture and fit in like he had always been there.

Ruby Branscomb currently resides in Washington, D.C. She is a teacher at a private school in Potomac, Maryland and is also a violin instructor. Jon and Ruby met in 2005, at Longfellow middle school and they have been close ever since. Something she finds endlessly, hilariously strange is that her father, a former teacher at Haycock Elementary, taught Jon before he ever met Ruby. Jon held a grudge that lasted nearly 15 years against Mr. B. for discounting his rebuttal during a 5th grade debate — a difference they have since settled.
