We have not! We encourage our out-of-town guests to stay at accommodations most comfortable for them, and we have recommendations too :)
Savannah is lovely and you can't go wrong! Most people who visit enjoy staying downtown near River Street in the Savannah Historic District. We recommend a hotel or rental that is close to our ceremony venue, the Harper Fowlkes House, which is only a few blocks away from this area including franchises like: The Marriott, the Hyatt, the Hilton Garden Inn, the Quality Inn, etc, as well as some unique boutique hotels like the River Street Inn or the Olde Harbour Inn.
Rideshare option like Lyft or Uber will be the best option both to arrive to the wedding ceremony at our first venue (the Harper Fowlkes House) and to depart our second venue (the Legion). After the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, we will shuttle everyone from the ceremony/cocktail hour to the reception!
Street parking is available, but limited.
The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors.
Our dress code is semi-formal. This means a suit and tie paired with comfy dress shoes, a cocktail dress, or a blouse and a midi skirt. Don't stress the dress code too much - we want everyone to feel gorgeous and comfortable.
Jon this is where you can include if you want certain colors or patterns or styles "encouraged"
It will be hot and humid, with a chance of rain - a true Savannah summer. We'll have refreshments at the ceremony & cocktail hour, and cool off when we go indoors for the reception.

No - but we do ask that you consider wearing a mask while traveling. We are bringing a lot of people together to celebrate, So we ask that you *pretty please* reduce your exposure to others while traveling so you keep yourself healthy as well as the rest of us!
