Caitlin “Dirty” Sappington
Matron of Honor
Dirty and Jelli were suitemates during Jelli’s freshman year (07-08) at Santa Clara University. Sobrato Hall, Suite 305 baby! We hit it off immediately, bonding over music, dancing, Mario Kart, and Kettle chips. Dirty was twerking on walls before it was popular. She’s incredibly creative, hysterical, and always down for a good time - Jelli knew she found a lifelong friend the moment they met! For years, she would mention her boyfriend’s (now husband) funny and cute West Point friend Scheys who she thought Jelli would like, but the timing just wasn’t right... until it was! Fun fact: Jelli was one of her bridesmaids, she was a bridesmaid in Jelli’s first wedding and the witness at David’s first wedding, so it’s only fitting that she serve as matron of honor after FINALLY getting us together!
Justin “Sleepy” Sappington
Best Man
David and Sleepy met at West Point in 2006. They quickly found they had a lot in common and sought the same major- Computer Science. They bonded over video games, interests, and general quirkiness. Sleepy earned his nickname during his first trip to West Point were he fell asleep during breakfast: on his food. Sleepy is a deeply caring, funny, and authentic person whose charisma and style makes him unique and unforgettable. Sleepy's high school sweetheart and now wife, Caitlin (Dirty), grew to be a close friend to David as well and introduced the bride and groom. David was honored to be the best man for the Sappington wedding.
Kristen Keene
Groomswoman
Kris is David’s older sister and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. She has a passion for trivia, loves to travel, and has been a constant source of advice and inspiration for her brother. Her warm disposition and fun-loving attitude tempered by her orderliness and professionalism ensure that any event she's a part of will be outstanding.
Charlotte Burr
Groomswoman
Charlotte is Kristen's daughter and David’s niece. She loves books, cats, and cooking. She is a high-school senior and hopes to attend a college that will give her bright new opportunities. Her soft-nature makes her quick wit unforgettable. She studies diligently and continually finds success at school. She also loves the show Friends.
Steven Wright
Bridesman
Steven is Angelica’s younger brother, not twin! He is married to Chynna and has two adorable daughters, Josie and Rubie. Steven studied broadcast journalism at Southern Utah University and is currently the Vice President of Wright Hospitality Group LV. Steven and Jelli share amazing senses of humor and many common interests, including singing loudly, crossword puzzles, and random pop culture. Steven is hysterical, thoughtful, sensitive, and a great brother to Jelli. We are excited to have him in our wedding party and to stand on Jelli's side (on the Wright side this time!).
Joseph Wright
Bridesman
Joseph aka Joe, Joey, Uncle Banana, etc. is Jelli's youngest and tallest brother. He graduated from Holy Names University in 2018 with a major in Communications. He currently works as a sales rep/sourcing specialist for the family biz, Wright Hospitality Group LV. Jelli and Joey bond over similar tastes in music and memes, as well as roasting each other. Joey is caring, super funny, very cool, and a great brother to Jelli. Being a groomsman the last time around didn't work out, so he was excited to be on the Wright side of things, as a bridesman, this time. Joey is an amazing tio to JoJo and Rubie, and we are excited to have him in the wedding party!
Josie "JoJo" Wright
Flower Girl
Josie aka JoJo is Jelli’s beloved niece. Jelli has spent countless hours teaching JoJo to say "deuces!" and "bye girl!" and other very annoying, very Jelli-esque phrases. She is super smart, very funny, extremely perceptive for a 4 year old, and while she may look like she's judging you, she's as sweet as can be. Whenever we ask her if she is excited to be a flower girl, she rolls her eyes and says, "Of TORSE I am..." JoJo loves being a big sis to Rubie and will be SO adorable walking down the aisle together!
Rubie "Rubles/Ruben" Wright
Flower Girl
Rubie AKA Rubles, Rubella, RuPaul, Ruben, etc. is Jelli's youngest niece. She is super cute and very smiley! She will have just turned 1 by the time of the wedding, and we are excited to see her walk down the aisle with her big sis!
