Travel Note
We will try to organize group rides to and from the airport for those who don't rent a car. We will be in touch closer to the event to coordinate. If you'd prefer to organize your own ride, here are the taxi rates: From SDQ ~$150 From Punta Cana ~ $400
Travel Note
Driving in Dominican Republic can be tricky if you're not used it. We had a car both times we were there, so renting a car is definitely an option for those who are comfortable with international driving. Otherwise, you can always take a taxi to get around. Renting ATVs for your stay is another fun option! We will try to arrange shuttles for group events not at the villa. If you are interested in renting a car you can rent from the airport or contact a local agency. Here are the three agencies recommended by our wedding planner: Javier Valdez - 18099629261 (http://wa.me/18099629261) Septan - 18293988312 (https://wa.me/+18293988312)

House Or Rental
There is a condominium complex within easy walking distance of the villa. We stayed there while researching the wedding and really enjoyed it. The condos are individually owned and available through Airbnb. There's a restaurant and pool on the premises. This is a great option for anyone who wants a two-bedroom unit within easy walking distance!
House Or Rental
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at a Villa in Las Terranas. There are other villas available in the same development. It's easy to walk between villas. Some of the larger villas come with a private chef and bar tender!
Hotel
Sublime Samana is another hotel option nearby. It is still walkable to the venue, albeit a little farther of a walk!
Flight
AZS is only 25 minutes away and is the closest airport. This is a smaller airport and there are very few commercial flights. Apparently, there will be more commercial flights added next year, so it's worth checking on.
Flight
SDQ is a two-hour drive from Las Terranas. Santo Domingo is the capital of the Dominican Republic and one of the Caribbean's oldest cities. Its walled, cobblestoned historic core, the Zona Colonial, has buildings that date to the 1500s, including the cathedral, which was the first built in the New World.. If you have extra time in DR, it's worth exploring the historic Old Town!
Flight
Punta Cana is a 3.5-hour drive to Las Terranas. It's the farthest airport, but also has the most flights. Punta Cana is the primary resort district in the DR. If you want to spend some time at an all-inclusive while you're out there, this is an excellent option!
