If you are in one of the wedding parties, you'll be contacted separately. If you are otherwise a guest, then please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. You are welcome to arrive sooner, but just know that you'll be hanging around with not much to do while things get set up.
Indian food from New Delhi Diamonds in Ithaca. The menu will include: Appetizers: Vegetable Samosa, Vegetable Pakora, and Supreme Tandoori Mains: Aloo Gobi, Bengan Bhartha, Chicken Tikka Masala, rice, and naan. Dinner will be buffet style. I believe in your ability to Google the dishes above if you aren't sure what they are. Trust us, they're all delicious.
Local beer, cider, and wine as well as assorted non-alcoholic options. Please do not bring outside liquor.
If you have a spouse or partner known to us, they are invited and have been taken into account vis a vis food, drinks, seating, etc. If you have a hot summer fling you just met, please leave them at home. You can take some Indian food back for them at the end though.
Some specific children (mostly nieces and nephews) will be taking part in the ceremony, but there will not be much in the way of facilities for child-wrangling. If you can, please arrange for childcare. If that is impossible, reach out to us and we'll figure it out together.
Dress nicely, as formal as you wish, but with the knowledge that it will be Ithaca in July. If you have a shirt, it should probably button up. Ties are optional. If it stresses you out, google "Garden Attire" and you'll be inundated with options. Fun summer patterns are encouraged.
