Flight
Both Madrid and Barcelona international airports should have affordable flights depending on your departure city. After arriving, Zaragoza is a 1.5 hour train ride from both cities (you can check train times and prices at renfe.com or iryo.eu). Please let us know your tentative plans and we are more than happy to help with logistics and suggest other places in Spain or Europe if you want to make a vacation out of it!
Train
If you are flying into Madrid or Barcelona international airport, you can take a train with either Renfe.com or Iryo.eu to get to Zaragoza. It is a 1.5hr trip. We recommend booking the train in advance and allocating 4 or 5 hours after you land, which will give you enough time to take a taxi from the airport to the train station.

Zaragoza is a very walkable city. You will not need to rent a car unless you'd like to visit smaller towns nearby (we recommend Jaraba, Monasterio de Piedra and the Pirinies.)
