Shuttle to and from venue

It is so important to us that our guests are able to enjoy themselves on our wedding day, while remaining safe. Because our venue is located in San Marcos, we have arranged free transportation to and from the venue on July 5th. We ask that all guests interested in taking the shuttle meet at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort at 2:45 pm (shuttle leaves promptly at 3pm). Even if you are not staying at this resort, you are welcome to meet here to take the shuttle. The reception concludes at 10pm, and shuttles will head back to San Diego around then. One bus will head to the San Diego Mission Bay Resort. The other bus will head to a Uptown Tavern where late night food will be served.

Our primary hotel for the weekend. Transportation will be arranged from here, to the venue, and back on the wedding day. At this time, our hotel block is full. There are still rooms available to be booked at a rate the hotel provides. The hotel is also available to be booked through Costco Travel.

Inn by the Sea, La Jolla, California

If you prefer to stay in La Jolla, consider booking here. We were able to negotiate a rate of $235/night for a standard room and $285/night for an ocean view room. The rate is good for any days pre/post 7/4-7/6. To book, you must call the hotel at 1-800-526-4545 and mention the Poole/ Roberts wedding. You are able to book up until 45 days before the wedding (May 21, 2024) Parking is $10/night.

Hampton Inn & Suites San Diego Airport Liberty Station

If you want to be near the welcome event and the airport, this hotel is near both. The rate for this hotel is $259/ night. The rate is good for 2 days pre/post 7/4-7/6. Rates are valid until 5/20/2024. Use the link (click View) to book for 7/4-7/6, but if you want to book for any of the pre or post dates, you will need to call 619-881-2714 and talk to April. Hotel includes breakfast and an airport shuttle. Parking $15/night.
