Yes, you need a negative test result no earlier than two days (48 hours) before travelling. There's also an Affidavit of Health form that you must fill out. If you are unable to get either of these done before you travel you can get your test done at the Panama Airport for about $50.00 dollars (Be prepared, if you decide to take the test at the Panamanian airport to endure a long line and wait for some few hours until you get the results) and fill out the form on the plane.

I need a COVID test before I fly home. Where can I get one done?

Answer

You can contact Mr. Mike Kelly at 6614-1448 for taking the PCR or Antigen tests. He is a bilingual authorized doctor here in Panama. His prices for the tests are: PCR -$90 + home service fee. Results will be provided within 24hrs. ANTIGEN -$45 + home service fee. Results will be provided within 2-3hrs. BOTH tests are acceptable at the Tocumen International Airport of Panama.

Question

Answer

After you arrive at the Panama International Airport, you DO NOT have to quarantine UNLESS your PCR or Antigen Test comes back as POSITIVE. If your test results show POSITIVE, then you WILL have to quarantine for 7 days before retesting.
