FAQs

Question

When do I need to be in New Orleans?

Answer

We can't wait to celebrate with our favorite people! The wedding ceremony will be Sunday afternoon, on October 11. We will also have welcome drinks Saturday evening and a casual post wedding brunch Monday morning to soak up as much time as possible with everyone in the Big Easy. See the Schedule tab for more info.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We love a theme and any reason to turn a look. Sunday's attire is Campy Cocktail - think fun, dazzling, opulence, jewel-toned. Have fun and dress to your comfort level, but come dressed to impress! (Please no white though!). On a practical note - we will be walking the streets of the French Quarter in a second line after the ceremony, so wear shoes you can comfortably walk in on cobble stone streets. Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in the French Quarter (where the ceremony and reception will take place), or the nearby Garden District. We have a room block in the French Quarter, please visit our Schedule tab for more info.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space restraints, we are unable to accommodate guests beyond those named on your invite.

Question

What's a "second line" (parade)?

Answer

A second line is a quintessential New Orleans wedding tradition, and good news for y'all - we're having one! The name stems from the set up - a "first line" consisting of a brass band, followed by a "second line" of wedding guests. There'll be some walking, so plan accordingly with your shoe choice!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4PM.
