Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are highly encouraging our parent friends to enjoy a weekend of children-less fun if possible! Thank you for your understanding! This is only a gentle suggestion and we understand that spending a few days/traveling away from your children may not be possible. If you have any further questions about this, please reach out to me or David!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 25th, 2025

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at the venue- located at the front of the venue and also a larger parking lot behind the venue. If you plan on drinking at the reception, we highly recommend a DD or rideshare to fully enjoy the night of fun! :)

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Shuttles will be provided from the Fairfield Inn McKinney to the venue! You are also welcome to Uber/Lyft of course if you would like to leave/arrive earlier! Shuttle schedule: Ceremony: Leaving from hotel at 7:30am, returns from venue at 1:30pm Reception: Leaving from hotel at 5pm, returns from venue at 11pm

Question

Can I wear Indian clothing to the wedding and reception?

Answer

Yes! But we also want you to wear whatever you are comfortable in! Reminder that there will be plenty of dancing at the reception! You can absolutely reach out to me (Aarthi) for any questions about outfits or recommendations on where to find traditional clothing!

Question

I have never been to an Indian wedding before. What should I know before attending?

Answer

Indian weddings are rich in color, sound, and traditions! We will have a guide for our Hindu ceremony to follow along and share some "why" behind the rituals.
