Sharing a love for skiing, music festivals, concerts and traveling, Travis is always up for an adventure—and many of their best memories have come from doing exactly that together.

Sarah Guida met Scott and Dave through EMS, where she quickly became a trusted colleague. As Chief of the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad, she worked closely with both of them on numerous projects at Blacksburg Rescue. Over the years, that professional partnership grew into a close and lasting friendship. Outside of EMS, Sarah shares their love for biking, skiing, music festivals, and traveling—making her a perfect fit for any adventure.

Ashley Frink met Scott and Dave at Virginia Tech when she joined the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad. The three quickly became friends while working in EMS together. Over the years, they’ve bonded over shared interests like concerts, music festivals, Virginia Tech football games, traveling, and enjoying margaritas at Cabo Fish Taco—where both Ashley and Scott are proud members of the tequila club. Whether it’s an adventure or a night out, Ashley is always part of the fun.

Cody Jackson met Scott and Dave years ago through EMS, where their friendship quickly took off. Cody and Dave went through paramedic class together. Over the years, the three have shared countless memories at EMS symposiums, bike rides, Virginia Tech football games, concerts, and trips—making Cody a longtime friend and an important part of their story.

Alex Robinson met Scott and Dave when he joined Blacksburg Rescue while attending Virginia Tech. They all served on the same duty crew throughout his time with the agency. Spending so many hours together on and off shift built a strong and lasting friendship. Even though Alex now lives in Richmond, they still make a point to visit each other often and travel together whenever they can. He shares their love for traveling, concerts, and music festivals, and while he’s always up for winter sports, he proudly represents the snowboard side of the debate.

Zach Clements met Scott and Dave through Alex Robinson while attending Virginia Tech, and the friendship quickly grew from there. After spending time in Richmond, Zach returned to Blacksburg for medical school, where he joined Blacksburg Rescue and worked alongside Scott and Dave—further strengthening their bond. Now back in Richmond with Alex, Zach still shares many of their favorite interests, including skiing, concerts, and traveling, and remains a close friend despite the distance.

LeRon Lewis holds a special place in Dave and Scott’s story, not just as their wedding officiant, but as a longtime friend whose presence has been woven into their lives for years. They first met through a mutual friend, and their connection quickly grew through shared experiences—especially during the time LeRon was working as a paramedic and attending EMS conferences alongside them. Those moments built a lasting bond rooted in trust, respect, and genuine friendship. Even as life has taken them in different directions and across distances, LeRon has remained a steady and meaningful part of their lives. Having him officiate their wedding is a reflection of that enduring connection and the important role he continues to play in their journey together.
