Somehow, we have people traveling from 10+ different states—yes, literally from one ocean to the other—to come celebrate with us in the glamorous hotspot known as Northwest Indiana. Thank you for being part of this amazing time in our lives. Seriously. We know you could’ve spent those travel dollars on a beach, a resort, or literally anywhere that doesn’t smell faintly like cow butt… yet here you are. Our hope is that the memories we make together completely overshadow the reality of where you actually are. Lower your expectations accordingly. The evening will feature: excessive kissy faces, food that better be good, drinks (you’re welcome), and lots of dancing… but mostly from Cortney. David—our certified wallflower—will require an irresponsible amount of alcohol to voluntarily move his hips in public. Please stand by with encouragement, beverages, or a gentle shove toward the dance floor..

Semi-formal-ish: We’ll be dressed like it’s a wedding. You can show up in a suit, cocktail dress, tux, gown… or honestly, if overalls speak to your soul, we support that. It is a farm, after all.

Yes, we willingly chose to live near and get married in what can only be described as the butthole of Northwest Indiana. We apologize in advance that while we say our vows, we will be surrounded by approximately 32,000 cows. Don’t worry—there won’t literally be cows at the ceremony (unless we can secure a tiny, adorable cow to be our greeter… still working on that). But the aroma of those 32,000 cows? Yeah… that may very well be stronger than our love, and honestly, that’s saying something. We’re crossing our fingers for a low-stench day, but either way, the ceremony will be outdoors. It will be short—just like Cortney.
