Getting married is a big deal. It means betting half your stuff that you'll both grow into people who will still be compatible 60 years down the line. It’s a voyage into unknown waters—with no GPS, no map, no directions, and no specific destination. But we're ready for the adventure. Long-distance? Easy when you've found the one. Different time zones? There's an app for that. Countless flights between California and New Jersey? Chase Sapphire Reserve. Travel rewards memberships? Lost count after the first dozen. Sandra was living on the West Coast, David on the East—but from day one, they made it work. They've shown up for each other through birthdays, holidays, promotions, setbacks, risky investments, bar exams, and everything in between. If it mattered, they were there—even if it meant red-eye flights and airport sprints. Weddings have been central to their story from the start—one of their very first dates was at a wedding (yes, they were one of those couples!). Since then, they’ve danced at more receptions than they can remember, seen good couples work together, and taken plenty of notes. They've challenged and inspired each other to become better individuals and a stronger team. Before tying the knot, the church requires a pre-marital course—and thankfully, it confirmed what they already knew: they're aligned on the big things and excited to set sail. Turns out, if you talk on the phone for three hours a night for two years, you'll end up on the same page about a lot of things. And then—the engagement! David pulled off the surprise party of a lifetime from across the country, secretly coordinating with Sandra’s family and friends and pulling off the plan with (almost) perfect execution. If that wasn’t sweet enough, immediately after Sandra said "yes," they officially got engaged at church later that same day. She said yes, no waiting, no overthinking—just yes. Now, we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you—the friends and family who've been part of our wild, wonderful, coast-to-coast love story. We're setting sail for a new horizon, and the future has never looked brighter.
