Our story began in the fall of 2022. We matched on a popular dating app called Bumble. She thought he looked sweet and genuine, so she took a chance and swiped right. He felt the same way and also swiped right. During our first message exchange, we bonded over our love of animals and vegetarian food. We soon found out that we had a lot more in common, including both working in a helping profession. Dave is a PA and Lauren is a Social Worker. The first time we spoke on the phone, our conversation lasted for two hours and we both knew that there was something special between us. He told his friends "If she is half as pretty as she is in her pictures, I'm going to marry this girl." We met on a beautiful fall day right before Halloween. Our first date was at a cozy coffee shop that happened to be playing one of both of our favorite Halloween movies, Beetlejuice. Neither of us wanted the date to end and the rest is history! Dave proposed on Christmas Eve, 2023. Fall is a special time of year for us since it's when we first met and it's also our favorite season, which is one of the reasons we chose our wedding date. Ever since we met, life has been an adventure and we are both so happy that we finally met the one. We share a love of traveling and have taken many trips together already. Although we have our differences (He loves Star Wars while she loves Hallmark movies), we are the same in the ways that matter most. We are each others biggest supporters and know that we can count on each other no matter what. We can't imagine spending our lives with anyone else and are so excited to get married. We're looking forward to celebrating our love and the next chapter of our lives with all of our favorite people on our wedding day!
