After chatting for several days, Kira and Dave met up at an Italian restaurant in Catskill, NY on the Friday night before New Years Eve 2022. Kira had just driven back that day from PA, having spent the holidays with her family, but neither wanted to wait another day to meet the other. Both had been navigating the treacherous waters of online dating for some time but knew there was something special going on. They were right :) They spent the next several days together nonstop and have grown together every day since, forming a loving, accepting and truly special partnership. Dave proposed on a beautiful mountaintop in CT with a backdrop of fall leaves and 4 carved pumpkins, to Kira's shock and delight. They are in the process of combining their lives, including the household merge of Eric the Cat with Luke the Dog and Peanut the Cat, which proves challenging and hilarious every day. Kira and Dave love relaxing at Camp, boating and floating, eating out, their shared affinity for country music, and spending time with friends and family. They are so grateful to be surrounded by love and support and cannot wait to see you at their wedding!
