FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we have here please reach out. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than May 1, 2025. Return your response by mail or click the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our wedding is a formal affair. The dress code is black-tie-optional. This means, gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tux or their best suit and tie. Ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or midi cocktail dress. Please indulge us by picking a dress in spring or summer colors. Pastels and jewel tones are welcome!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 2:30 p.m., we recommend you aim to arrive by 2 p.m. to ensure you are seated on time. The doors will lock once the ceremony begins.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is ample parking behind the church. You can enter the parking lot on both North Darlington Street or North New Street. Be aware those streets and many others in West Chester are one way only. There is handicapped and street parking in front of the church. Parking for the reception and room accommodations at the Mendenhall Inn are easily located on site.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If allowed a guest, your invitation will be made out to your name and guest. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Question

Where do I go after the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Saint Agnes Church is roughly 10 miles from The Mendenhall Inn, approx. a 20 minute drive. Following the ceremony is the perfect time for family & friends to check into their hotel rooms. If you are looking to get the party started before cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m., head to Alexander’s Tavern at The Mendenhall Inn.
