We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Dave and Julie met on a warm September day at a bar in Scranton. Each were out with friends after the "half-way" to St. Patrick's parade (postponed due to the pandemic). Dave, a Scranton City Firefighter marched in the parade with his friends in the department. Julie, a news anchor, also marched in the parade, with her colleagues and friends. Both Dave and Julie were waiting for the right person to come along. After hitting it off, Dave dragged Julie out on the dance floor and the two exchanged numbers before the night was over. They went on their first date a week later, at a local restaurant. Before they knew it, they had been on countless date nights. The two found they had a lot in common, but pushed each other to try new things. From taking Dave hiking to the Top of the World, to Julie's first Bloomsburg Fair, the two were smitten. Julie and Dave just celebrated three years together. Their life is even more beautiful after rescuing their dog Penny. They are eager to spend the rest of their lives with each other, filled with love. Their adventure has only just begun!

Dave proposed to Julie at one of their favorite spots, Longwood Gardens. There was a quiet moment while the two stood under a tree lit admiring the Christmas lights when Dave got down on one knee and asked Julie to marry him. She said, YES!
