Maid of Honor
As the bride's sister, I didn't have much of a choice in getting to know Joanna and Dave. I still look forward to being a part of the wedding, even though they won't let me officiate or DJ it. Much love to the happy couple!
Bridesmaid
Soulmates, lovers, best friends - Joanna and I are all these things and more. In 2014, we officially welcomed Dave into our lives when he moved into my brother's apartment. Over the past 10 years, Joanna and I adopted a stray cat from Harlem, took our honeymoon in Europe, and starred in a hit Comedy Central series. When we moved to Brooklyn, all the thrift stores immediately sold out of crop tops. Frankly I can't believe we're not marrying each other, but if it's not going to be me, I'm glad it's Dave!

I became Joanna's sister-in-law a little over a year ago, but we've been family for years before that. I met Joanna when I started dating her brother, Dan, in high school. We began by spending vacations and holidays together and from there we became closer and closer friends. I am so excited that she's marrying Dave, whom I liked for her the first time I met him. And I am so honored that I get to be a part of their wedding day!

Good friends remember the moment they met, but best friends can't remember because they were still weaning off their pull-ups at Jewish nursery school in New Jersey. From holding hands through the perils of hazing, to going into pet stores simply to play with puppies, to almost killing each other while living together, Jo & Mo stayed committed through the toughest long distance relationship of their lives. Joanna and Morgan only hope to follow the lead of their bestie grandmas #Pearl&Marion by becoming bridge partners while sipping rosé by the pool of the country club at the ripe ol' age of 70. And let's be serious: there will be no better Jewish grandma at that club than Joanna Lieberson! So let's make it official!

I met Jo when we were 3 years old on the Ramapo Country Day Camp bus. The bus counselor decided to stick Jo next to me, the girl hysterically crying she was scared of camp. Thank God she did because Jo and I have been best friends ever since! I don’t know what I’d do without her in my life. We have been there for each other for every major milestone, and I can’t wait to be there for her wedding day!

I've always wanted a sister! Now it's two against one; good luck, Dave...
Best Man
I have known Dave and Joanna for well over a decade, ever since we became good friends attending American University. Over this time I have ended up living with Dave in more than five places across the East Coast, from houses to apartments and from D.C. to Brooklyn. The memories we’ve made in each of these locations will stay with me my entire life. However, once Dave and Joanna decided to move in together, I knew that it was all over. I became so bitter and distraught with my uncertain living situation that I moved out of the country altogether, only to return to the US for the wedding. I look forward to seeing you all at my one-stop-only farewell tour.
Best Man
Dave and I met first day of college at American University as two bright-eyed freshmen ready to take over the world. I remember initially thinking that Dave was an RA due to his mature demeanor, quick witted jokes and his uncanny ability to bring joy and laughter to a group of people he has never known before. After being fraternity brothers and becoming close friends in college, we both moved to NYC where our friendship continued to grow stronger. When Dave asked me to be his co-best man, it was the honor of a lifetime. I can’t think of another individual who is more kind, generous and radiant as Dave and I’m proud every day to call him my friend and brother.
Groomsman
It doesn’t surprise me that Dave and I are such good friends today because over a decade ago, he showed how dedicated a friend he is. When I first started college I met Dave right away and within a year he made the effort to jump on a plane and spend his spring break with me in San Diego. We drove up to LA, saw a hockey game, explored Pacific beach, broke some bones, drank some beers, had a blast. Living in Brooklyn together for years since then, Dave is my go to for weekend hangs, debates on the best movie directors of all time, and the first person to call me out when I pretend to know what I’m talking about in sports or history.
Groomsman
I met Dave when we showed up to a party freshman year of college wearing the same fedora. Rather than seeing each other as a threat, we decided to be friends. By junior year, we were roommates in a 2-bedroom apartment shared with two other people. I often refer to my buddy as "Dave my fave" or "David my favorid."
Groomsman
Dan Kwartler wasn't given the opportunity not to become friends with Dave. As younger brother and lifelong lackey to the bride, he was told early on that "this is what's happening now" and "he better get with the program." Fortunately, Dave quickly proved himself a capable addition to the Kwartler family dynamic, adding much-needed rigor and strategy to their entertaining but often pointless flailing. Dan is eager to find out what new misadventures await his family following the official inclusion of this judicious new member.
Groomsman
Dave and I met on my first day at American University. We were roommates in Anderson 569, which would become a gathering place for our friends thanks to our futon, enormous DVD collection, and the fact that we both lost our keys immediately so it was always unlocked. I mean, we had so many DVDs that we had to make a sign out sheet to keep track of the comings and goings of borrowed movies. To that end, there will be a collection box at the ceremony for anyone who "forgot" to return a movie over the years, no questions asked. Those who don't, we have the receipts and you will be shamed at the reception.
