Short answer: We don't remember! We met somewhere on or around the campus of American University in the spring of 2009. Our best guess is this fateful location was the library, where we spent many hours connecting over a mutual interest in procrastination. We dated sporadically throughout college, but our relationship really came to be in New York. Dave moved to the city six months after Joanna ("coincidence," he says...). We have been together ever since. Between 2014 and today, we've traveled to Europe, Mexico and all over the US; adopted our kitty, Zoe; and made Williamsburg, Brooklyn our home. Dave proposed on Joanna's 28th birthday at Extra Fancy in Williamsburg, with the help of their amazing friends and family. While she knew it was coming, she was still completely shocked (and even more turned up on margaritas). It was the best of day of our lives so far, and we can't wait to share our wedding day with all of our loved ones in the borough we call home!
