Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

When all wedding details are set, an RSVP function will become available on this website and formal invitations will be mailed to you. Keep an eye out for them in 2025! Please RSVP by Sunday, 15 June 2025. You can update your RSVP here until that date. This will ensure there is food for you! Very important. Please reach out to Elaine or Dave if you have any issues RSVPing.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can find all registry information in the Registry tab on this website. Dave and Elaine are registered through Amazon, Crate&Barrel and Zola. All gifts are much appreciated! The greatest present is your presence :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 1pm. Please arrive by 12:45 to ensure you are seated. Please sit close to the front of the church! Elaine and Dave want to see you (and your outfits).

What kind of ceremony will there be?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be preformed at Old St. Josephs's, which is a Catholic Church. However, Dave and Elaine did not spring for the full mass! Vows will be exchanged within a 'Simple Ceremony' - the vows are exchanged after the proclamation of the readings (the Liturgy of the Word). There will be no presentation of the gifts or communion.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be black-tie optional. Suits, tuxes if you want to whip them out, formal dresses, and the like. If you want to go with the 'vibe' set for the event - lean into Old Hollywood with East Coast touches (a little edginess?). Also, please dress for the weather. Dave will be taking layers off as the day goes.

Can I bring a date? kids?

The invited parties will be listed on your formal invitation and pop up when you RSVP here on the website. Dave and Elaine are hoping to celebrate with some sort of reunion party next summer which will be kid-friendly and where they would love to meet anyone you want them to ;)

When will the party wrap up?

Answer

The reception end time is 10pm. At that point, guests can head back to their hotels. If any after-party plans materialize, they will be in Old City!
