By Car: Approximately 4 hours north of Chicago / 2 hours and 45 minutes north of Milwaukee
By Air: Best to fly into General Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee and then rent a car for the scenic drive north. You can also try to fly into Green Bay and then drive the shorter 1 hour north.
Accommodations: Door County is a summer/fall tourist destination that does need booking in advance. In addition to the hotel listed below, which is very nice and directly across from the venue, there are numerous Airbnbs, VRBOs and smaller properties nearby.
Our hotel block at the Newport Resort is under Bowers-Henry Wedding. They prefer a 3 night stay minimum, but can accommodate 2 nights, on request.
For all rooms, Door County does book up fast so for the best options, book early.
