Maid of Honor
"A good friend is like a four-leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have." Maybe it's because our friendship began during 4-H camp, but this quote always makes me think of Alaina. A rare friendship that started during a very intimidating week my first summer of being an ECI. It's a friendship that came easily and has only strengthened through college, moves, jobs, and relationships. Alaina is the best sounding board, cheerleader, and wedding date (sorry Nick).
Matron of Honor
Sara and I became friends during Sara's first ECI training. I'm not sure what kicked off the friendship, but it feels like a friendship that has always been around. I can always count on Sara to help me let loose and focus on having fun. The girl can plan a bachelorette party that perfectly suits the bride.
Bridesmaid
Jaime was one of my Charters during my first summer as an ECI. We bonded over Harry Potter, Disney, and music. We don't get to see each other as much as we would like to, but I cherish every second with her. She has the most contagious laugh. Jaime is incredibly kind, supportive, and intelligent.
Bridesmaid
Another bridesmaid with an infectious laugh. Abby will drop everything to help a friend. She reminds me to go with the flow. Everything will be fine, if not great. She inspires me to constantly to be a better person, friend to others, and friend to the Earth. We share a lot in common, including our guilty pleasure TV shows. The best car (and wedding) DJ I know.
Bridesmaid
Perhaps my oldest friend, Sarah has known me since my freshman year of high school. We disconnected for a few years due to college and new jobs, but we never skipped a beat. Our friendship rekindled over a Harry Potter paint night at a place in Morgantown. Over dinner before the event, we were reminded how much we had in common. Somehow, I always knew she would stand beside me on my wedding day even after all these years. The Ann Perkins to my Leslie Knope. The most beautiful, glowing sun goddess ever.
Bridesmaid
Tawny is/was my Big during my time as a Chi Omega at Marietta College. I knew she would be my friend for life as soon as I saw her Beatles poster in her room. We had an instant connection that has never faded. I can text her at any time of day from hundreds of miles away. She is the best motivator and cheerleader. Always working to improve herself, she inspires me to try harder at everything I do.
