Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA)

For family and friends flying into the DC Metro Area, this is the closest airport. The hotel is located across the Potomac River, roughly an 18min, 8 mile drive from the airport. An Uber from the airport to the hotel costs between $34 - $51, with the later being the price for an Uber XL. These prices are from 10/14/2023 and are subject to change at the whims of Uber executives and algorithms. For those of the older generation... you can also take a cab.

Train

DC Metro Rail

DCA is serviced by the Blue and Yellow line metro-rail. Should you choose to take public transit from this airport to the hotel, you will first take the Yellow line towards Huntington and you will exit the train at the King St - Old Town Station. From there you will transfer to the NH2 bus towards National Harbor and get off at the Oxon Hill Park and Ride stop. Lastly you transfer to the NH1 bus towards Southern Ave Station and get off at Oxon Hill Rd and Felker Ave, which will put you one block away from the hotel. The closest metrorail to the Harborside hotel is the Southern Ave Station, which is the Green Line. To come into the city you will board the train heading in the direction of Greenbelt.

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)

This is the next closest airport to the city. The first option to get into the city is to rely on family/friend transportation (some form of gas money compensation would most certainly be appreciated). The second option is to catch the Northeast Regional Amtrak train from the airport to Union Station (which is serviced by the Red line metrorail). Prices range from $10 - $76, depending on the time. Prices based on Wednesday 10/18/2023 - Sunday 10/22/2023. The final option is a 65min Uber (or Lyft??), which ranges from $69 - $98 from the airport to the Harborside hotel.
