Easiest airport to fly into for the wedding. Approximately a 20-minute drive from the wedding reception venue.

Avoid Uber/Lyft at Richmond International Airport

During certain times of the day, Uber and Lyft fares surge dramatically at Richmond International Airport (RIC). It is normal to see fares downtown over $100. Don't do it! Instead, call our favorite local taxi driver - Henrico Express Cab: 804-937-1668.

A Note on the Monument Avenue 10K

Richmond will be busy this weekend. Be sure to plan your stay in advance and make reservations in advance! Named one of the best races in the country (thanks, USA Today!), Virginia's largest race and block party will draw 25,000 participants annually. Head over to Monument Avenue early if to experience costumed runners, Spirit Groups, live music, or the beautiful, flat course.

Please note this is a 1:30 minute drive to Richmond. Usually 2 hours with traffic. Dulles International Airport is located in Northern Virginia and is approximately a 1hr45min drive from downtown Richmond.
