Meet our favorite people who are walking down the aisle with us!

Ali Herold (she/her)

Daryn's Bridesmaid

Real friendships form when you meet each other at your most awkward and decide you want that person in your life forever. After 16 years I feel lucky to stand beside Daryn and be a witness to her and Kelsey’s love.

Jessie Daguilh (she/her)

Kelsey's Maid of Honor

I had the blessing of meeting Kelsey when we played basketball together when we were about 10 years old. We went from best friends to sisters to roommates to maid of honor. Kelsey is what I would consider my soul sister and I am thrilled to be sharing this experience with her. I think of Daryn as a kindred spirit. Daryn is kind, generous, funny, and so loving. My fellow Capricorn and I grew especially close through the pandemic and I am so glad to be bonded with her forever.

Raelyn Brummitt (she/they)

Daryn's Bridesmaid

Technically, I never ‘met’ Daryn. She was just there when I was born and has been part of my life ever since. As the older sister however, she met me when she was 9 and had finally just lost her last tooth (sorry to overshadow that huge accomplishment). I met Kelsey at one of Daryn’s Temple lacrosse games. I had no idea how important she would become to our family. I don’t remember much about our first meeting but I feel I should apologize for the first time the two of us hung out and I directed us in the complete wrong direction. I was just excited to be there and grossly overestimated my pre-drivers license navigation skills.

Ivy McWilliams (he/him)

Kelsey's Best Man

Brother of the bride and future brother of the other bride!

Grae Brummitt (they/them)

Daryn's Bridesthey

I have known Daryn since she had a bowl haircut (she was 3 and we had just become family). The first time I met Kelsey was at Daryn's graduation. Daryn and Kelsey’s relationship was the happiest surprise!! Immediately, I could tell that the love and joy they brought into each other's lives was boundless and contagious. Kelsey is such a genuine soul and I can't imagine a better fit for Daryn. I love you two with all of my heart, and I am so excited to make this extension of family official 💖

Lindsey Abed (she/her)

Kelsey's Bridesmaid

I’ve known kels since the ripe age of 10. She’s my longest best friend ever. We met on the school bus and clicked instantly over Lego Star Wars, and funny enough we both dated the same boy. Now look at us, both lesbians. We grew up together playing house league basketball and soccer and throughout life supported each other with our sports and everything else! I’ve had the greatest opportunity to grow up with her. A little while into her club lax days at Temple is how I met daryn! I came to visit kels and I first met daryn at Made In America and I vibed with her off the bat.I watched their friendship grow into a beautiful and loving relationship throughout their years at Temple and beyond. I’m so grateful to have them both a such amazing and close friends

Sydney Cason (she/her)

Daryn's Bridesmaid

In true queer fashion, I met Daryn on Instagram! A lesbian creator that we both followed posted an instagram photo with a caption urging people to make queer friends in their city by commenting where you lived on the post. I commented that I lived in Washington, DC and Daryn DM’d the same day to see if I wanted to hang out! A couple weeks later, I had her over for brunch and made homemade bagel sandwiches. We became fast friends and I weaseled my way into Kelsey’s heart by sending home bagels for her to try as well. I quickly folded them into my DC friend group and they both became some of my dearest and most special friends while living in DC.

Maddie Roberts (she/they)

Kelsey's Bridesmaid

Kels and I first crossed paths through Vienna Youth Lacrosse, but it wasn’t until we were playing for Cardinal Girls Lacrosse Club as high schoolers that we became besties (despite our actual high schools’ rivalry). The McWilliams’ house quickly became my second home, but we’ve taken our shenanigans all over the DMV (and California!) — including to a Christmas house party in Baltimore when I was invited to meet some college club lacrosse teammates. This one named Daryn seemed extra special at the time, and through she and Kelsey’s laxer love, I’ve been lucky enough to earn her close friendship since then too. 💜
