Are Children Invited?

We love your kiddos, but all wedding events are for guests ages 18 and above. We chose Dreams and Secrets because of their ability to host all types of parties. For those of you with children, feel free to bring them along! If you do, please book at Dreams Bahía Mita. For your convenience, we recommend bringing a family member, friend, or babysitter with you to ensure you enjoy the celebration to the fullest. The hotel does offer a babysitting service, please contact the hotel a month out at the latest to schedule. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to celebrating together!

Is Transportation provided to the events?
Answer
Yes! We have arranged transportation to and from our events for all guests. Pick up and drop off will be in front of Secrets Bahía Mita and we will communicate times when the events get closer. Please make sure you are out front on time, or you will have to find your own ride. Any guests not staying at Secrets/Dreams ate required to find their own way to and from the events. Uber is available but our wedding venue can be tricky to find, allow enough time to get to the venue on time.

When Should I RSVP By?
Answer
To help us with our planning, please RSVP to all events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is January 17, 2026. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make expectation and will have to mark you as 'no.' We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.

Can I Bring a Date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos during the Ceremony?
Answer
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We want you to all be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other then the ceremony, yes! We encourage you to take as many photos and videos as you'd like. We will be supplying disposable cameras, make sure to grab one and help capture amazing moments from the evening.

Is it Safe?

Absolutely! Punta Mita is a safe destination both in the resort and surrounding areas. Our hotel and wedding events will both have security as well.
