The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk
The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk is located in Downtown South Norwalk, along the Norwalk River. The aquarium features harbor seals, river otters, sharks, jellyfish, loggerhead turtles, and hundreds of other animals found in the Long Island Sound. It also hosts the largest IMAX Theater with a screen six stories tall and the equivalent of eight stories wide. You can walk here from the Residence Inn Marriott.
New York City
A great add-on to your time in Norwalk is a visit to the Big Apple; New York City. You can easily take a 50 minute train to or from Norwalk into Grand Central Station.
The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood
Seafood restaurant located right in the town of Rowayton. Has a small bar and a deck overlooking the Five Mile River. On Saturdays they serve lunch starting at 11:30 and on Sundays, they host brunch starting at 11:30.

Deli that serves great breakfast, lunch and ice cream in Rowayton. Nina used to work here in high school.

Small high-end grocery market in Rowayton that also has a deli where you can get breakfast and lunch. Great patio in the back overlooking the Five Mile River.

Visit downtown South Norwalk for cute shops, restaurants and home to the SoNo Collection (https://www.thesonocollection.com/en.html), a new design-driven shopping mall that features art installations and interactive events. Downtown is walkable from the Residence Inn Marriott.
