Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We only have venue space, chairs, and dinner enough for our friends and family that are named on the invites we sent out. Thank you for your understanding.

Is it okay to bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! Friends and family with kids should have received an invitation with their kids names included. If this is not the case, please message us!

Can I take photos?

Answer

Ceremony: We would like to have an unplugged ceremony. This means no cellphones or cameras out during the ceremony, and please set cellphones to silent. Don't worry, our photographer does great work and will be taking lots of photos for us to share with you. Reception: Yes! You can take photos during the reception! We will be using an app service called POV, that functions like a digital disposable camera. Each guest will get a set number of POV shots on their digital roll, and be able to use them to take photos throughout the evening. When the time runs out on the POV countdown, all the photos you took will be uploaded to a digital gallery for our friends and family to enjoy!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not a strict one! Our ceremony and reception has a Garden Party theme, so anything that you would be comfortable wearing in that setting. Consider comfortable shoes and a jacket of some sort, as we may be outside (weather permitting) for the ceremony, and temperatures and conditions are unpredictable in June!

Can I smoke outside at the venue?

Answer

Sort of. We have 2 locations (weather permitting) Ceremony (The Farm): yes, but please be mindful of other guests, and make sure your butt is totally out, and disposed of appropriately. Reception: Our venue is a public community centre and sports facility that children frequent. By law, you cannot smoke near the entrances of our venue, and we would ask that you please walk out to the parking lot entrance off of Main Street if you wish to smoke. Thank you for understanding.
