We’re getting married!

The story begins during freshman year at MSU. Zack was playing volleyball with a few new friends when a girl walked up, wearing what he later affectionately referred to as a ‘peg leg’ due to a broken foot. Over the next few months, the two grew close. One of the things that brought them together was their shared love of reading. They quickly discovered they had read many of the same books over the years, which led to endless conversations. They spent countless hours discussing books, watching The Princess Bride, and laughing at Monty Python skits. The turning point came when Darla asked Zack if he would like to go to the church's winter dance with her friend group. What she really meant was, ‘Would you go with me?’—which Zack quickly picked up on. So, Darla took the leap and asked him out! From that moment on, their connection deepened, filled with love, laughter, and, of course, many more books. Their journey came full circle when Zack proposed at one of their favorite places: a local bookstore. We're so excited to continue writing our story together, and we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with you all!
