At this time, we can only accommodate the people listed on your specific invitation. However, feel free to reach out to Alyssa or Dar if you would like to invite someone and we will see if we can add them.
For those we invited with kids, yes they are welcome. Please just make sure to include them when you RSVP if they will be coming.
We recommend that guests arrive Friday evening or Saturday morning. This will allow you to join in on all of the wedding festivities, starting with our welcome party on Saturday evening. The wedding will be Sunday and then guests can fly out Monday or stay for the pool party and leave Monday night or Tuesday.
Yes! The welcome party and wedding will both be outside, though there will be a covered dance floor. The ceremony will be on grass so be sure to plan your shoes accordingly.
Although many places accept debit/credit cards, there are a lot of cash only places in Sayulita. We recommend exchanging some USD for MXN. There are ATMs at the PVR airport when you land as well as several around the town of Sayulita.
If you are traveling as a couple or solo, without a lot of luggage, it’s easy to grab an official airport taxi, or you can uber from PVR to Sayulita (but you might not be able to get an uber back to PVR from Sayulita). Generally, we would suggest a private transport airport transfer, which you would need to book in advance. Check out the travel page for more info on airport transfers through VIP Transportation. Their sister company Gaby Golf Carts will also rent you a golf cart for traveling around Sayulita once you are there. For reservations contact sayulitaviptransportation@gmail.com; Enrique +52 322 429 6691; or Antonio +52 322-109-4229.
The town is very walkable and safe. We would also recommend renting a golf cart if you are planning to travel further distances. Check out our travel page for more info on golf cart rentals.
Sayulita is pretty small. Depending on where you are staying, it may be easy to walk to the different wedding events. If you are outside of walking distance, we recommend renting a golf cart (see travel page for golf cart rentals). They may also have golf cart rentals where you are staying.
Please see our travel page for a few of our top hotel/villa recommendations. Feel free to reach out to us if you would like more ideas as we have an even larger list you can look at.
We advise you not to drink tap water anywhere in Mexico, and it’s probably best to avoid ice whenever possible unless you’re at a nicer sit-down restaurant. Bottled water is the way to go to be as safe as possible!
