The Wedding Website of Elizabeth Strong and Darin Girndt
Join us for a fun day at the park! The ceremony will be taking place at 1:00pm at the "emerald room" which is a grove of live oaks located just at the entrance to the park. There are two small parking lots by the entrance and one larger overflow lot to the right - the ceremony is to the left of the visitors center (looking at it from the entrance). Please park and walk over - the ceremony will be short and sweet with no plans for chairs. If you will need sitting accommodations please let the couple know and we will ensure that you are able to comfortably join us. After the ceremony we will be rejoining at the dining hall which is further back in the park. You will want to drive (or ride). There is ample parking at the dining hall as well as seating. Casual lunch, yard games, and celebration will continue at the dining hall into the evening.

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

We will be having a small outdoor ceremony followed by a picnic style lunch and celebration. There will be vegetarian and non vegetarian options for lunch and a selection of pies for dessert, as well as a build your own s'more set up at the outdoor fire pit. Texas state parks do not allow alcohol "to be seen"... beverages of various kinds will be provided.
