How early should I buy an airplane ticket?

Flight tickets are increasing in price by each day as your flight date is approaching. If you for example want to fly out on 26.12., the best timing is to buy plane tickets at least 3 months in advance, early September.

Is Vieques Island safe?

Yes, it is. We felt super safe and welcomed. There are no sharks as water around Puerto Rico is too warm for them. All of 11 reported snake species are non - venomous. You will enjoy in beautiful scenery with wild horses, birds and iguanas :)

Do I need car on Vieques island?

Answer

It is strongly advised to rent a car while on Vieques. December is high demand season and car should be reserved ahead of time, at least couple of months in advance. We have posted car rental information in "From Croatia to Puerto Rico" section.

How much is ferry ticket to Vieques?

Ferry ticket to Vieques from Ceiba ferry terminal costs $2 per person in one direction.

As group we will be renting cars and it will costs $25 per person in one direction.

We advise $25 - $50 per day for food and drinks, and other expenses.

Absolutely not! These are mere suggestions to explore and experience Caribbeans island in its full capacity. We would be happy to have you all with us, but being next to pool and just enjoying warmth of sun is great deal which we support in full! :)
