This is our story...

We want to share our story with you, how me met each other and how we have found our happiness together. Back in high school, when we first met each other, we surely didn't imagine ourselves getting married on the beach of Puerto Rico :) But nevertheless, miracles and wonderful stuff happen to ordinary people too. Ivana was hard candy, I can tell you that. Sweet and cold in the same time, but after hours of phone calls long into the night ( pssst don't tell her parents ), and probably million text messages, she said yes to our first date. As she shared with her girlfriends: "I didn't know that this soccer guy from Borovo can also play guitar, aww so romantic!".

I can tell you that after our first "official date'" Darijo was playing "I am cool, I am king of the world and I don't respond to text messages" game. But, I wasn't that naive. On his birthday, I cornered him ( because guys usually need women to decide for them) and told him that we can only be friends if that is something he wants, and that we are not in some Katy Perry music video to play hot'n'cold. He then kissed me and we started our 12 year journey :)

To cut the story short, Ivana didn't have a clue what was coming for her. Early April, it was chilly weekend in Shenandoah Valley, and I rented a house on Shenandoah river under excuse that we are tired and need a weekend out of Washington DC. On our last night I went down on my knee and proposed knowingly that she can either run to hills, jump into the river or come to me. And she still said: "Maybe, just let me see the ring!". We are still not sure if she said a YES, so bear with me :)
