Jenna & Dariane

Wedding Party

Our cherished friends and family who will walk with us in this ceremony and life as Zions!

Jenna

Bride

Mara

Maid of Honor

Jenna's sister, best friend, worst enemy, closest confidant, and forever partner in crime. One time, Mara put me in a toybox and locked it because I wasn't listening to her French lesson during a game of student and teacher. Now, Mara is 2nd grade teacher in Medellin, Colombia.

Victoria

Bridesmaid

Victoria knew me when I was still in my mom's belly. We lived on the same street, where her family owned the town's most delicious bakery and pastry shop. We spent our childhood by each other's side and shared many memories including catholic school, piano lessons, ballet, many laughs, and of course our dreams. We became "Jeanine & Jeanette" to our families. Through the years, and living in different countries, we've remained sisters and best friends. I look forward to our reunions every couple years! Victoria works as an employment counselor for people who are recognized to work with disabilities in France.

Kendra

Bridesmaid

Kendra took me under her wing when I spoke little English. We met in ballet school and our friendship blossomed through junior high, high school, and college. We’ve spent hours upon hours listening to Taylor Swift, crying over silly things, suffering through yet another ballet class, and eventually moved in together in college. Kendra has been and will always be a constant in my life. Now, Kendra is a graphic designer hoping to pursue a career in Denver, CO.

Anja

Bridesmaid

The middle sister, from a different family. Anja was born in a cold Norwegian town - not sunny California or the south of France. During high school, Anja signed up for a student exchange program where I "picked" her based on all of our shared interests. We met several months later- by chance- in a random town in France, while our families were attending the Tour the France. The Cuneo/Large family gained more than just Anja- but her whole family as well. We spent our senior years together, had lots of fun, got in trouble several times, and became sisters for life. Anja is a clinical psychologist working in Sweden.

Sondae

Bridesmaid

Sondae and I met as a tiny ballerinas in 2005. She recalls my “wearing 7 watches on one arm” (it was 2!) in ballet class, which was perfect, because Sondae’s hair was held up by 39 clips. We spent our childhoods crying and cry-laughing in the dance studio, and eventually grew up and got less publicly nerdy (still very nerdy, just less overtly) and got into all sorts of non-parent approved mischief in high school. To this day, we are as close as ever and excited to have each other for support as we both begin new journeys as wifeys and health professionals. Sondae is a youth behavioral and mental health counselor in Chico.

Rylan

Bridesman

Rylan and I went to high school together- but didn't get to know each other until after. We moved into a house together and became family, bonding over our shared love for lemon bars, coffee, and bike rides. We've made many memories since then; from political rallies to blasting our favorite records in a not so sound-proof house. You can find Rylan and Eileen running a retro, blue coffee truck in town, Equilateral Coffee.

Alicia

Bridesmaid

The self-proclaimed "coolest friend." We met working at a local restaurant and bonded over our hatred of rude customers and drunk college students. We spent countless weeknights and weekends serving bottomless mimosas to Chico locals, students, and visitors. Alicia will always be someone I can count on to tell it like it is. And once you've broken through the sarcasm and snarky retorts- she's a gift to everyone who knows her. Alicia was an activist for the houseless community in Chico, working with organizations like Safe Space. Today, she continues to advocate for our most vulnerable populations.

Elaine

Bridesmaid

Although we're cousins, Elaine and I met for the first time in 2013, when I went to Boston for a ballet intensive. I ended up with an injury and spent the rest of the summer enjoying getting to know Elaine and the rest of my family. During that summer, Elaine became a friend, sister, confidant, appointed guardian (I was only 17 and needed someone to take me to medical appointments - Elaine is still on the fence about approving this whole marriage thing), and pastry chef. Elaine taught me the true joys of indulging and overeating - taking me to my first ever chocolate restaurant. Since then, our families have become one. Elaine is currently attending law school at Yale in Connecticut.

Gabriela

Bridesmaid

Gabi and I met in high school French class, junior year. We grew closer through our friendships with Anja and Kendra, our shared love of Harry Potter, obsession with cats, and eventually “adulting” in different cities. Gabi is a champion fake burrito thrower, battery exploder, and literal drug maker. She is small but loud character reminds everyone around her not to take life too seriously. Gabi is a quality control analyst in the microbiology group for a pharmaceutical company in San Francisco.

Dariane

Groom

Jeremiah

Best Man

Jeremiah came into the world when I was 6 years old and we lived in Reno. Although my brother doesn’t remember anything until I was about 5 or 6, his first memory of me is us playing in the cul-de-sac with the neighborhood kids. Long story short, we were playing, Jeremiah was poking me with a stick. So with my life at stake, I grabbed a stone and threw it at Jeremiah. I hit him directly in the eye and Jeremiah had a pool of blood in that eye. We both don’t remember much after that but I assume he was taken to the hospital. I love my brother so much!

Daniel

Groomsman

Danny and I met by way of our insane skateboarding skills. We were both truly tearing up the city like it was Skate 3 when the Irish Bear Cub (aka Aidan) came across both of us and saw the untapped potential. In true talent scouting fashion, he brought us both aside and said “seriously, you guys need to collaborate and make that magic on the Tinseltown four stair.” We got together, did the damn thing, absolutely tore up the spot, and the rest is history. We only got the security guard called on us one time - it was a good turn out for our standards. Since that day, we were pretty much brothers for life. A bond unbroken despite the changing of hobbies, bandanas, pumpkins, life stories, and locations. Danny works for the city of Santa Cruz as an associate planner.

Seth

Groomsman

Like most of my friends, Seth and I met at Marsh Jr. High. We had a few classes together; and one where our teacher asked “Can you spell pirate?” after which Seth remembers me spelling it out loud in front of the whole class. Seth said he liked me instantly because I was smaller than him. We became better friends when our mutual friend, Kyle invited Seth to my birthday that same year. Seth’s favorite memories are of us hibernating in the garage for days at a time binge watching shows, “Slugterrrrraaaaa,” and playing Skate 3. Seth is also an avid snowboarder, so we spend a lot of our winters together on the mountain. Seth is currently finishing up his Bachelor’s in Construction Management at Chico State.

Aidan

Groomsman

Aidan and I met in junior high drama class. Aidan recalled an incident in that class that made him realize we would soon be best friend. “Our teacher told Dariane to go outside because she mistakenly thought he was talking during class (can you blame her?). He was defiant and refused so I befriended him. His rebellious spirits, love for what is right, and our grade-A sense of humor sealed the deal.” Aidan is a brother to me, right down to the bickering and head butting. I can always count on him to make life more colorful. Aidan is a graphic designer is San Diego, CA.

Cody

Groomsman

Cody and I met in Chico, at Marsh Jr. High when we were on the basketball team. We quickly became brothers through high school. We share a love for sports and music, which we have a reputation for debating endlessly. We’ve created lifelong memories that drove my mother crazy and i will cherish forever. We can’t wait for next ski season, to shred some powder and jump some tree lines. Cody lives in Chico and works for an electrical company.

Taylor

Groomsman

Taylor did not do his groomsmen’s homework and tell the future Bride how he and Dariane met- so Jenna has taken creative liberty to speak about Taylor’s life. Taylor is actually 64 year old silver fox disguised as a 28 year old male nurse. When he’s not busy with his guns, new truck, or cowboy boots, he likes to dress up like Elmo and steal cookies from children at the park. Taylor is an avid skier who enjoys the slopes of vail resorts at least once a year. He has a pet parakeet named “Dog” that he’s taught to tell him how pretty he is.

Chandler

Groomsman

Chandler was born and raised in Chico CA. We met through a mutual friend freshman year in high school and became brothers soon after. We quickly became a part of each other’s families. Our relationship, even though we live further apart, has only gotten closer over the years, because we know that we can always count on each other to be there when needed. We spent many ridiculous nights laughing and arguing to the point of defeat, getting in trouble. From Vegas, to Newport, to his dad’s place hanging out with “Billy Bob Thornton,”we’ve always made it out the other side closer and better friends. Chandler lives in Reno and works for Tesla.

Tyler

Groomsman

This Chico native enjoys traveling, cooking, camping, and golfing. During Middle school, Tyler attended an after school festival where he was lucky enough to meet me. I had two different colored shoes on and a hair-do that quite frankly, made me resemble Pepe Le Pew. That next year, our friendship grew as freshmen at the same high school. Come senior year, we went to Disneyland for spring break with my family which solidified our friendship even more. Since then, we’ve continued to have lots of fun- including the occasional race for shotgun in the car. Now, Tyler works as an Account Executive in the Chico area.

Cory

Groomsman

Cory was raised in Chico and has lived here his whole life. However, even though his house may be in town, he’s taken the past 4 years to enjoy traveling around the U.S for work, living, and exploring. Cory and I met when I moved to Chico and we attended Marsh Jr. High. We bonded over our common interests like being the first kids to have the original iPhone at school. We became closer in high school and brothers after that. Cory works in construction, refurbishing buildings for the doppler radars used by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Step-Father of the Groom

James

Father of the Bride

Kira

Derek

Officiant

Jenna’s oldest brother; “a poet and a sports fanatic. Whether it’s beer pong, corn hole, baseball, or handball, I put balls where they need to go. A skill I can contribute to my loving father, who happened to fall in love and marry a gal named Kira. The same Kira who has a pretty cool daughter named Jenna. Maybe you’ve heard of her.” Derek has a way with words, too good to pass up for officiating this wedding.

Skylar

Jace

Ring Bearer

Jenna’s older brother. When he’s not hopping around the globe enjoying international cuisine, he’s a chef at both work and home, cooking up dishes that make his whole family feel pretty damn lucky. You can also find Jace kicking back and watching UFC with a fat bowl of ice cream.
