We met in May of 2016 in Fort Myers Florida. Almost 2 years to the day, Daria moved 800 miles to North Carolina to be with Eddie. Now, almost 4 years from the day they met, they start the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife. The September date is where they will exchange their own vows and celebrate with family and friends.
Eddie had never been to Savannah and I, being the love of the historical city, was so excited to go with him! I just knew that he would love it as much as I do. I also prayed for that to be the weekend where he finally popped the question. Not long after arriving I told him I wanted to take a lot of pictures this weekend. He does not like picture taking, but agreed to it rather quickly. My hopes were raised just a wee bit. Friday night went by and we had a great dinner and a walk on River Street. Saturday was filled with adventure and fun. I mean, we are fun people after all. But still no proposal. Sunday we spent the day down at the park and talking to some people we had met at the brewery. Then we cleaned up and went out to a nice dinner and a ghost tour. You should ask him how I dipped when the lights went out at the Chandlery. We were almost all the way back to the room when he chatted about walking a little more. I froze and then started rambling. You wouldn't believe how much I had to tell myself to SHUT UP. Once he asked, my heart was filled with so much joy as I of course said yes. I also cried like a fool. We may not have a fairy tale love story, but we truly have a fairy tale love.
