Maid of Honor
The sister of the bride is a force to be reckoned with! Her infectious laugh will leave you feeling good about yourself for days. When the we are together, we are most likely speaking our own language of movie quotes, inside jokes and telepathic exchanges. Not biologically related, we became sisters when her awesome dad married my fabulous mom. We just don't see a need to throw the "step" part into our relation, because you don't need to share genetics to be family
Bridesmaid
Kristin and I met my freshman year of high school at an event called the "Awake-a-thon," which is exactly what it sounds like - stay awake all night, overnight, at the school. Because teenage sleep habits aren't chaotic enough. Ever since, we have been through pretty much every milestone together - 1st jobs, 1st cars, graduations, college, marriage and her children. You will not meet a sweeter, kinder, easy-going lady than Kris but beware - she's a competitive kickboxer and throws a deadly uppercut!
Bridesmaid
We met at college orientation and were attached at the hip all the way through. The hardest part about moving to Vegas was leaving Meaghan. If you tell this lady she can't do something, she'll take your challenge and master it twice. When life throws curve balls, she hits for the cycle. She challenges her loved ones to grow, but always loves them exactly where they are no matter what. Meaghan inspires me more than she'll ever realize.
Bridesmaid
You can't ask for a better sister-in-law than Jennifer. The love and friendship she and my brother Frank share was something I wanted in my own partnership. She breathes light and laughter into our family and you can't get enough of her when she's around. Jenn is one of my all-time favorite people to have a conversation with - you feel heard, you feel listened to, and she has incredible insight, whether the subject is deep or light.
Groomsman
Adrianna's brother who became MY brother when their fabulous dad married my awesome mom. Frank puts everyone he meets immediately at ease. Forever young at heart, he never met a bad pun he didn't like, and finds great joy in the little things. Somehow he always manages to make the mundane fun and interesting. Our favorite topic of discussion is baseball, especially the New York Mets. I owe a lot of what I know about baseball to him.
Groomsman
My baby cousin, who I had to call my baby brother so I could visit him in the hospital when he was born, is not so much a baby anymore, but so much more like a brother than a cousin. Andrew came to Las Vegas with, literally, only the clothes on his back. He fought until he thrived, and I am forever in awe of his perseverance and drive. We were roommates for many years, and I wouldn't have made it through some of my toughest storms without him. With his sharp wit and deadpan delivery, you'll laugh until you can't breathe. And once he starts, it's rapid fire. Do not attempt to drink anything if Andrew gets on a roll - you WILL spit your drink out.
Flower Girl
My darling niece, daughter of my incredible sister Candice and wonderful brother-in-law David. My heart melts every time I hear her say "Auntie Dee." Her Grandpa (my dad) tells me that she reminds him of me sometimes when I was a little girl. But really, Madeline is who I wish I had been growing up: confident, owning the room, never afraid to be silly, living in every moment! I love our Facetimes when we talk about the books she's reading, and changing the filters constantly to different animal faces. She's absolutely going to steal the show walking down the aisle!
Ring Bearer Escort
Aunt Lez, aka Auntie, aka Tia, aka my lifeline at work, Leslie wears a lot of hats just in my life alone. There's a saying in our family: if someone doesn't love Leslie, they need their head examined. You will not meet someone with a bigger heart, greater loyalty, greater kindness, higher compassion than my aunt. After spending any amount of time with her, you feel ready to conquer the world. No description of her can do Auntie justice. You'll most likely find her singing Broadway songs with her sister (my mom) or waving at you while she's walking her dog
Ring Bearer
The only 4-legged member of the party, Lisey is our three-year-old Maltese puppy "daughter." She is the apple and delight of her daddy's eye. Her favorite place on earth is snuggled up in Antonio's arms in their recliner. Her second favorite place is wedged up against her mommy in bed, watching the Sunday morning movie. Spoiled to a fault, she is fiercely loyal to her favorite people, although she is learning that making new friends is fun too. Be prepared for cuteness overload as she wears her ring-pillow harness down the aisle, expertly and lovingly walked by her Tia Leslie
Best Man
History buff, grill master, car aficionado - The World's Most Interesting Man may or may not have been based on Charlie. A man of class, you can talk about anything and everything with this distinguished gentleman, in at least two languages! Through the years, he's been the ride-or-die Antonio could always count on. Living across the street gives that old-school neighborly vibe you just can't find anymore. Somehow, every time we pop over to say hi, we leave with several plates of food. Asking him to describe Charlie in his own words, Antonio said, "There's no one like him. He's just the best guy I know, a real best friend."
Best Man
Over 10 years ago, Antonio showed up to a dealership one day, looking for a car. He left with a car and a new ride-or-die. There was no way Antonio could choose one best man between his closest friends. Compadre y hermano, Antonio even became godfather to John's son, Alejandro, a terrific kid who gives us all hope for the future. Through the years, John and Antonio could collaborate a podcast about road trip adventures, quests for wealth at Santa Fe, and life's milestones as hermanos y compadres. Loyal and kind, there's no one else Antonio trusts like John
