We’re so excited to be bringing you to Praia da Luz, a beautiful little seaside village on the western Algarve coast.
Luz is centred around its golden beach, with a relaxed promenade lined with cafés, restaurants and bars. Behind the seafront, you’ll find pretty whitewashed streets, local shops and the village church, all surrounded by the dramatic Algarve coastline. It’s small, laid-back and easy to explore on foot, the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a few days in the sunshine.
Just a short drive away is Lagos, a lively historic town with a charming old town, cobbled streets, independent shops, restaurants and a marina. It’s a little bigger and busier than Luz, but still has plenty of traditional Portuguese character.
With the two so close together, you’ll have the best of both worlds - the relaxed feel of a small beach village, with everything Lagos has to offer just a short journey away.
