Question
Where should I stay?
Answer
We suggest all guests stay in Greenport, NY as that is where our welcome reception will be held and all wedding day transportation will depart from pick-up points in this area. We will be staying at Hotel Moraine and would love to have our guests join us! We have also reserved multiple blocks of rooms, the options are listed on the Accommodations & Travel tab of our website. We encourage you to book your accommodations early! Is there a dress code for the wedding day?
Answer
The attire for the wedding day is garden party formal. We kindly request that ladies wear floor-length dresses and gentleman suits with ties. Bright colors and floral patterns are highly encouraged!

Will there be transportation?
Answer
In order to be sure everyone is able to enjoy and celebrate with us, we will be providing transportation on the wedding day to and from Meadowlark from from Cliffside, Sound View and Harborfront Inn. Each vehicle will display a sign “Roddy/Samuelsohn Wedding.” Pickup: Cliffside: 4:00pm Sound View: 4:10pm Harborfront Inn: 4:10pm Return: 10:30pm, 11:30pm, 12:30am

Will the wedding be indoors?
Answer
The ceremony along with cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting. The reception will take place under a tent. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place largely on grass. Please plan your footwear accordingly.

I can't make it! What should I do?
Answer
While we hope all our guests can celebrate with us, we understand things come up! If your plans are set and you know you won't be able to attend, we kindly ask that you let us know at your earliest convenience using the RSVP tab of the website or shooting us an email at darcyandconor.com. We will miss you dearly!

Is there a dress code for the welcome reception?
Answer
The attire for the welcome reception is cocktail. Think stylish, breezy midi/maxi sundresses or elevated mini dresses for ladies, and khakis and button downs for gentlemen. There are no ties required and jackets are optional. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing shorts or denim.

Will there be food at the welcome reception?
Answer
There will be light bites but we recommend eating dinner beforehand. There are plenty fabulous restaurants at a variety of price points just steps from the welcome reception in downtown Greenport! Please check the Recommendations tab of our website for a few suggestions.

Are my children welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that you enjoy some timme off to celebrate with us! Wedding events will be adults-only affairs, so book your favorite sitter and get ready to party!

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please refer to your invitation or the RSVP tab of the website if you have any questions. We appreciate your understanding!

We are highly sensitive to any allergies or dietary restrictions and are committed to ensuring everyone is able to enjoy the food and beverages provided all weekend long! Why is the password to this website "sockpuppy"?
Answer
Excellent question! Our perfect red labrador puppy has one black back paw that makes it look like he is always wearing one little sock. We can't wait for you all to meet our sockpuppy :)
