Question
Where are you registered?
Answer
We have some items on our registries at Crate & Barrel and Amazon, but we also have started a honeymoon fund! You can find information about these under the "Registry" tab. Thank you for your generosity!
Question
Are there reserved hotel room blocks available?
Answer
Yes! Please refer to the "Travel" tab at the top of this page for information on our room block at Chicago Marriott Suites Deerfield and how to make your reservation there, or at another nearby hotel of your choosing. All rooms at this hotel are suite-style rooms and there are two room types available - a King suite with a Queen sleeper sofa and a Double Queen suite with a Queen sleeper sofa. The deadline to book within the block is October 2, 2025. If there are no more rooms available in the block prior to this date, please let us know so we can add more!

How should I RSVP - by mail or online?
Answer
RSVP's will be collected online. Either scan the QR code in your invitation or click the "RSVP" tab and search your name. If you have trouble RSVP-ing on our website, please reach out to either of us and we can collect your RSVP directly.

Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel?
Answer
Yes! Shuttle service will run between Chicago Marriott Suites Deerfield and Chevy Chase just before the ceremony and at the end of the night following the reception. Shuttle service won't be available from other hotels, so if you do not plan to stay at Chicago Marriott Deerfield, please plan your commute to Chevy Chase accordingly! The shuttle schedule will be added to our website once it is determined, so please check back here closer to the date for that information.

Do I get to bring a guest?
Answer
Due to venue capacity and our guest list size, we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those named on your invitation. We hope you can understand. If you have any additional questions or confusion about this, please reach out to us directly!

Does the venue have parking?
Answer
Yes! There is plenty of complementary parking in the lot of the venue, with special handicap parking near the building entry.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Dress code is cocktail/formal attire. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside on the first tee. Please take this into account when choosing your attire (and heels!)

Can I take pictures?
Answer
During the ceremony, we kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and leave all cell phones and cameras tucked away. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture every detail and will be sure to share those photos with you all afterwards! After the ceremony, snap away! We will be using an app that allows guests to share all of their photos with all other guests of our day so we can all enjoy each others' photos. Instructions and QR codes will be available at the wedding for those who wish to participate in this!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only (21+) event with the exception of the children in our wedding party. That being said, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off to celebrate with us!

Where are the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Both ceremony and reception will be held at Chevy Chase Country Club. See the "Schedule" tab at the top of the page for more information.

Will we be inside or outside?
Answer
As of right now (and weather permitting) we're hoping to have an outdoor ceremony! If the ceremony needs to be moved inside, that decision will be made no later than 24 hours prior to the ceremony. Also weather permitting, we plan to have a combination indoor/outdoor cocktail hour so guests can choose to stay inside or enjoy beverages outside. The outdoor section will be open until 10pm that evening (but the party will continue inside!)

I have dietary restrictions, how should I communicate that with you?
Answer
There is a section on your RSVP to include any allergies, dietary restrictions, or other important information. Please add those details accordingly so we can provide them to our caterer. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions/concerns.
Question
I have more questions that I can't find the answers to, how should I contact you?
Answer
Not a problem! You can reach out to Kate or Daniel (or both) directly with your questions. Calls or texts are welcome. If you have a question on the day of the wedding, please reach out to a close family member or friend who may have the answer, as we likely will not be checking our phones that day.
